Need some tips to prevent sweating?  I’ve compiled a long list of things for you to go through and try.  Some of these solutions may seem simple, some might seem strange, but they are all techniques which have worked to some degree for someone so they are all worth a shot!  For best results, try several techniques at once.

1. Drink More Water

If you want to prevent sweating, drinking more cold water will help your body to regulate it’s own temperature better, which means you’re going to sweat less.

2. Lose Weight

Even if you’re relatively healthy, the less fat on your body the better.  Fat acts as a barrier that hinders your body from maintaining it’s temperature with the outside environment.  This results in more sweating as sweating is our body’s way of managing our temperature.

3. Drink Wheatgrass

Wheatgrass is high in many forms of vitamin B which have helped some to ease their nervous sweating.  You can find this drink online.

4. Stop Drinking Coffee!

Yup, all together!  Coffee is loaded with caffeine and sugar, both of which increase anxiety and cause sweating.  This is a BIG one.  Try cutting this out for a week and replace it with cold water, see how that helps.

5. Stop Drinking

Now it might be fun to get out for a night on the town, but alcohol consumption raises your body temperature which causes you to sweat more.

6. Stop Smoking

Like coffee, smoking also increases anxiety.  It constricts your blood vessels causing excess sweating.

7. Driclor

Use a prescription antiperspirant like Driclor.  This contains aluminum chloride in a concentration twice that found in regular antiperspirants which makes it all the more effective.  Use this if regular antiperspirants don’t do it for you.

Want a good way to prevent sweating?  Sometimes the best way to treat it is to make sure it never happens in the first place.  Well that’s why I’ve compiled this list of things you can do to make sure that sweating doesn’t bog you down :

1.    Wear Natural Fibres

A great way to prevent sweating is to ensure your wardrobe is made up of breathable fabrics.  That means, you only want to go with 100% cotton, wool and cashmere.  Don’t use blends, 50% cotton or 25% cotton is no good!  Also keep away from synthetic fibres like nylon, polyester and the like.

2.    Use An Antiperspirant

This seems obvious, but you should be using a good antiperspirant.  One good antiperspirant solution is Certain Dri, if you can’t find it in a store near you you most definitely will be able to find it online at Amazon or Ebay.  This is one of the most powerful non-prescription antiperspirants you can pick up.  You can also try Maxim.

3.    Don’t Wear Black!

I know it can be tempting because sweat doesn’t show up on black, but black absorbs light and heat and makes you sweat even more.  Wearing lighter colors will prevent this.

Prevent Sweating With These 3 Killer Tips!

Interested in figuring out how to prevent sweating?  Rather than dealing with the sweat once you’ve got it, it’s better to put certain methods in place so that you sweat less in the first place.  So with this in mind, try out the following tips:

1.    Wear More Cotton and Wool

One way how to prevent sweating is by making sure you wear cotton or wool as opposed to unnatural  fibres or fabrics which are only part cotton or part wool.  100% wool and cotton are very breathable and don’t result in your body being constricted, hence you sweat less.  Keep an eye out for the tags when you pick up clothes from now on and stay clear of unnatural fibers.

2.    Don’t Wear Black

Although black tends to hide sweat real well, it absorbs sunlight like crazy!  That means that you’re going to wind up sweating more than if you were to wear lighter colored shirts.  Try it and pay attention to your body’s response, you will see that this is true.

3.    Driclor

Of course a great way to prevent sweating is with a good antiperspirant.  With driclor, it’s so powerful you don’t even have to use it every day, just put it on every other day at night, and when you wake up the next day you’ll be ready to go.
