Stop Sweating So Much
If you’ve ever wondered to yourself “How do I stop sweating so much” you’re probably one of the over 6 million people who have the condition known as Hyperhidrosis. It’s tough when you feel at times that all eyes are on you, that others are noticing your condition, so it always helps to get a new tip or tactic in managing the excess sweating. What I’m going to share with you today are a few things you can do so that you stop sweating so much.
The first thing you can try which seems counter-intuitive is to drink PLENTY of water. Now you’d think that with drinking extra water you’d be gushing all the more, but that’s not the case. You see when you drink more water, COLD water that is, you will be helping your body to cool itself down. This is what it’s trying to do as it is by sweating profusely. When you drink a lot of cold water, you help your body to regulate it’s temperature. Drinking more water also helps your body flush out any toxins, meaning reduced bacterial growth and less odor due to sweating. If you’re going to the washroom almost every hour, you know you’re drinking enough water ![]()
Another way to stop sweating so much is through using baking soda or corn starch! Strangely enough these are natural antiperspirants. Not only that but they will also work to absorb any odors in your underarm region. What you’re going to want to do is mix these up with some water and apply the concoction to your underarm area.
Lastly to stop sweating so much, try showering more frequently. Not only will it keep you fresher and smelling better throughout the day, but if you use a good anti-bacterial soap while you do it, you can prevent a lot of the odor you get through sweating. Getting used to taking COLD showers can help as well as it closes off the pores on your body. It may be tough getting used to initially, but soon you will come to find these showers invigorating! Give it a try…
